Community Update from Thames Valley Police: Addressing Nighttime Disturbances in Lace Hill Estate |
||
|
In October, residents of the Lace Hill Estate in Buckingham reported a surge in night-time disturbances, including incidents of doors being kicked, food being thrown at properties, and other criminal damage. Many community members experienced repeated targeting, leading to feelings of fear, anger, and concern over potential escalations.
In response, the Buckingham Neighbourhood Team took proactive measures. We conducted a thorough investigation, including door-to-door enquiries, reviewing CCTV footage, and engaging with residents who reported incidents. The team successfully ultimately identified those responsible for the disturbances.
These individuals were dealt with robustly: their parents were informed and supported us in ensuring that they were aware of the impact that their actions had on the local community. Anti-Social Behaviour legislation was enforced, alongside initiatives for community remedy contributions.
Thames Valley Police stands firm in our commitment to combat Anti-Social Behaviour. We assure the Lace Hill community that reports will be taken seriously, and we aim for constructive and impactful outcomes.
We extend our gratitude to the public and parents of those involved for their support, cooperation, and contributions, especially regarding CCTV footage. Together, we can enhance the safety and well-being of our community.
